Balance
As I ponder and pray on my day and sit down to write what I am guided to, I contemplate the beginnings and endings of spring. With just passing through an eclipse, the energies are heightened and there are changes every where.
I notice that I becoming even more grounded in the chaos of the world around me. What I have learned in my spiritual practice is that taking time to nourish and nurture yourself during the times of change, it critical to keeping your mind calm in these psychic waves.
My work has always been to help people to the wisdom of their soul. But as I contemplate that, I see that we are all works in progress. That is being human. We look at things, turn them over, and throw out that which is no longer working. We educate ourselves to take in more information and grow. It’s a natural evolution. We do this whether we are spiritually aware or not. If we are spiritually aware, then we have more of a chance to fulfill our purpose on the planet. Choosing how we are in this world is a process that balances all the parts of ourselves and learning to navigate the change so we aren’t pulled off our axis.
If you look at the child that spends 6 hours a day gaming, they are creating their reality. It may be out of sync with the rest of the natural world. But that is their reality. Will it give them the skills to operate in the real world? Ask yourself, can they do it now? If not, then there is your answer. We probably need more balance.
What I have found in working with the brain is that we are sensitive human beings. We are affected by the information that we take in and that we create. When we are in balance with ourselves in all ways, then we have the fortitude to relate to all things with more infrastructure. More grounding. More confidence. More. But it all starts with the spiritual belief system and letting go of the things that are no longer serving us and choosing our lives to be in balance.
So if you are off balance, ask yourself where you can be more in balance. You probably already know, so make a commitment to yourself to work towards your balance. Your balance within yourself builds a solid foundation in which to operate from. It will help you to weather the storms of this world when you are solid in your own world. I know it isn’t en vogue to talk about spirituality but why? Why are we not giving our kids spiritual guidance? Are we not doing that when we send them to church? We need to know the truth within ourselves so that we can operate transparently and congruently. The only way we do that is to educate ourselves and our children to follow their internal guidance system. Because whether you believe it or not, we are spiritual, all things are spiritual and if we didn’t have our spirit we wouldn’t be alive. So how is your life working without acknowledgment of your spirit? Consider the mysticism and magic of a spiritual life. There are miracles everywhere. You just need to wake up.
