The Gift of Service

Today I was reflecting on my feelings around the state of affairs in the United States and how the capital building was stormed last week. I felt a deep sense of sorrow in the sacral chakra a place where our feminine energy comes from. I felt like these people are acting out their hurt from the absence of feminine energy within themselves. Whether it is a lack of mothering/parenting from their parents, lack of forgiveness and compassion within themselves, or an missing piece of their spiritual life. In this reflection of their lack and it’s effect within me, I was able to see, feel and send them the love and compassion that I was able to give to myself. And I felt so loving with it that I could have done it all day. I feel like that the more I bring into myself, the more I can provide to these hurt individuals that have never felt the presence of love and peace.

It is part of the human condition. Even as our mother’s didn’t get love from their mothers, it can probably be traced back to the time of Adam and Eve when that choice to eat the apple led us down the path of good vs. evil. When does it ever end? It only ends when we choose to work on ourselves. Because we were given choice from God, it is in our power to choose to do the work on ourselves so that we may be of service to those that are lost and need help on this earthly plane.

I find the more that we connect to the energies of Mother Earth and her unconditional love, compassion, forgiveness, peace, joy, bliss, and mercy the more that we can feel that for ourselves and then we are able, to feel it and assist others.

For when we are in service to God and we are focused on the compassion for others, we receive our healing as well. Think about it. If everything is a mirror and we are angry or sad about something, then that anger and sadness resides in us. So when we are of service to God to help the healing of others, then we are healing ourselves. It is in selfless service that we are blessed with healing.

So let go and open yourself up to helping others, not at the expense of yourself but when you are able to. When your cup is filled only then can you help others fill their own cups.

I am deeply grateful to Kuan Yin and Mother Earth for their beautiful teachings and healings this morning and guiding me to send loving energy to the U.S. May we all find the mothering nature in all of us and help those that need it most.
