Empowerment
I was working through an issue today and I heard the word empowerment. When we pray, there is a spiritual empowerment that we receive so that we may be change in this world for the light.
This empowerment is the only thing you can feel in your connection and prayer to God. He/She helps or guides and gives you your empowerment. This isn’t something that you get on your own. You need to be consistent in your sacred service to God and your purpose and plan in this lifetime.
If you have been working through disempowerment or victimization then you can realize that we can all be victims or victimized one way or another. Like it is said, water is so strong that it change change rocks, move mountains and break down concretized structures. You just need to ask for it to happen. Water is the slowing down of the earth and making changes that are slow and meaningful. It is a long haul process and it is slowed with the earth element. When we try to do it too fast, it is like a patriarchal control of the air element or fire. You really need to slow down and do it at the pace of God the Creator.
This was always difficult for me. From trauma came ADD and ADHD, it was such a vibratory essence of not even being able to be still. I really had to work through all those vibrations to get deeply rooted so that I could move at a slower pace. Sometimes there are issues that I can’t work through at that nice slow pace, but that is the work. We chip away at the edges with water until we have a smooth surface or we have broken down that concretized structure that was placed there from society, ancestral programming and patterns and generational trauma and the list goes on. But if we just work on ourselves, then those things do come into place. It gives us spiritual resilience to do the work, to be a part of this world in a more balanced way and to face challenges or change with human resilience. In my experience I could not have done that without my spiritual connection.
The only way that I was able to actually choose to live in this lifetime was to value my sacred connection, work on myself and step into courage each and every day so that I could become the person that I want to be. It is still a work in progress and it always will be but that is the human condition.
I would say that when we have a spiritual practice we can be empowered if we stay humble. The alternative is we can be an overactive ego that is right, overpowering and may not entirely work well with others, as an example. The spiritual practice is softening, kind and gentle which is what we need more of
What I would say is that life is much more fulfilling now as a more balanced human than it was without my spiritual practice. Having experienced both, I would say that the spiritual journey isn’t harder or easier, what it is, is a lesson on how to be a good human. To live a fulfilling life, experiencing all the ways of life with grace on our side. It teaches you to be more forgiving, more brave in your conversations, more understanding, more compassionate, more empathetic, more loving, more robust and well rounded than being stuck in a wound.
So I would say if you are stuck in your wounds, how would you like to move to a more magical well rounded life filled with the wonder of spirit and the support that comes from your spiritual practice that gives you the tools to be a better human? I know now that even at the 1/2 way ish part of my life, I think how lucky those younger people that are already on their paths but for me, I am so grateful for mine. It does accelerate as you get older but what a great place to do it. It makes the stages of your life that much easier to trust in the endings and beginnings of life.
With much warmth and love,
Jackie
