Shamanic Journey
As I was in prayer this morning, I realized that I was on a Shamanic journey. I have been on this Shamanic journey for a long time and it was because I always had a deep love for Mother Earth. Since I can remember, I have always had a connection to animals. I had spiritual experiences that were Shamanic in nature, they were always speaking to me, that was the most comfortable for me. Not only did I realize I was on a Shamanic Journey this morning, I actually could feel it. I felt it to the depths of my soul. I could feel the deep connection to myself, the Earth and the Divine all at once. It was truly beautiful, calming, centering and a building of my solid foundation.
Shamanism probably has many connotations and variations. I have worked with different Shaman’s and their experiences were different. One Shaman was Empathic the other wasn’t. There isn’t a right and a wrong, it is what is right for you. For me, I identify as a Shaman that is Empathic and I identify with it because it gives context to how I am in service.
When I speak about being Empathic, the Shaman is able to feel the vibrations of the Earth, the energies of the elements, the language of the mountains, water, air and fire, they communicate with the plants, they co-create with the land. They know lay lines, feel electrical currents, they are feelers. The way a Shaman feels and the depth of their feelings, their healing comes from the land. That is why they are advocates for the Earth, they understand the relationship and their place on this earth. They understand with humility that we are a drop of water in the ocean of this planet but also the ocean at the same time.
In my journey, I have always been connected to the Earth, and in a way, that I didn’t even realize. It was like I couldn’t see the forest for the trees, but now I can. I see that I have always always always had feelings about industrialisation, agriculture, government, and how the Beings in our world are either conscious or unconscious of their impact on the Earth. I was always picking up other people’s garbage and sharing my opinion of what was right and wrong for the planet.
My role in this lifetime is to consciously connect myself and clients to their healing with the Earth. From plant medicine, to mineral wisdom, to animal connection, to healing the Earth and working with spirit to enhance our lives as human beings and having a human experience on this planet in this time of our lives. My goal and prayer is to help others to open up to their spiritual selves to heal their bodies, learn about their emotions, and become Masters of their minds so that our Souls can lead us to our purpose and our place in this life. What could be more important than that?
I don’t know what a Shaman means to you but for me simply put, I would be best described as a lover of the land, an admirer of the mountains, a healer of the waters, a fan of the air, and a student of the fire. Won’t you join me in connecting to yourself and to the Earth. She has all you need to heal.
